The following is a video tutorial where the steps are Written out within the video:
For the first few steps, don't press down too hard with your pencil. Use light, smooth strokes to begin.

Step 1: Draw two circles next to each other as guides for the fox's body. The circles don't have to be perfect. They're just guides.

Step 2: Draw another circle on the upper left side as a guide for the fox's head.

Step 3: Inside, draw two intersecting lines that will help you place the fox's facial features later.

Step 4: Draw four curved lines (two under each circle) as guides for the fox's legs.

Step 5: Draw two triangle-like shapes on top of the fox's head for the ears.

Step 6: Draw a series of lines that connect the major shapes to form the fox's body.

Step 7: Draw a curved line on the right as a guide for the fox's tail.

That's it for the initial sketch! From this point on, press harder with your pencil to get a more defined sketch.

Step 8: Using the intersecting lines to help with placement, draw the fox's eyes. The eyes are shaped like footballs with circles inside them. Inside each eyeball, draw the pupils, which are long and thin like a cat's pupils. Darken the inner part of the fox's eye for extra detail.

Step 9: Draw two curved lines on the lower left side of the head for the fox's muzzle.

Step 10: Draw the fox's nose, which is similar to an oval with two smaller shaded ovals for the nostrils.

Step 11: Darken the ears and give them more shape and structure. Use quick, short strokes inside to represent the fox's fur.

Step 12: Use the initial circle as a guide and draw the rest of the fox's head by using quick, short strokes.

Step 13: Draw the fox's front legs by using the initial lines as guides. Sketch lightly at first, then darken the lines using quick, short strokes. The bottom part bends forward slightly where the feet start. Add the toes at the bottom.

Step 14: Draw the fox's hind legs using the same technique. Go around the guide lines using quick, short strokes and bend the legs at the joints. Don't forget the toes!

Step 15: Draw the fox's body by going over the initial sketch lines using quick, short strokes for the fur.

Step 16: Draw the fox's fluffy tail by going around the guide line.

Step 17 (optional): For a cleaner look, erase as much as you can of the initial guide lines. Don't worry about erasing all of the lines. It's okay to leave some behind. Re-draw any final lines that you accidentally erase.

Final Step (optional): Add some shading to give your fox drawing more dimension and volume. Pick the direction of the light source when shading so that the shadows are consistent with it. Vary the pressure on your pencil to get different degrees of tonal value.
You can add more value throughout your fox drawing for extra detail. Add the value in the direction that the fur grows for a better-looking finish. It's a good idea to use reference to be as accurate as possible. Add a cast shadow underneath. This helps ground the fox so it doesn't appear to be floating.
