For the first few steps, don't press down too hard with your pencil. Use light, smooth strokes to begin so that it's easy to erase if you make a mistake.

Draw Camel 1

Step 1: Draw two circles as guides for the camel's body. The circles don't have to be perfect. They're just guides. The circle on the left should be a bit smaller than the one on the right. Don't place them too far apart or the camel will end up too long.

Draw Camel 2

Step 2: Draw a smaller circle on the upper right side as a guide for the camel's head. Camels have long necks, so don't place the head too close to the body.

Draw Camel 3

Step 3: Draw a U-shaped arc on the right side of the head as a guide for the camel's muzzle.

Draw Camel 4

Step 4: Draw a series of curved lines that connect the major shapes to form the camel's neck and body. The line for the top of the body should bulge up more for the hump. The taller the curve on the line, the bigger the camel's hump will be.

Draw Camel 5

Step 5: Draw four lines under the body (two below each circle) as guides for the legs. Camels have long legs, so draw long lines. Also bend the lines a bit near the middle.
