Please PAUSE the "How to Draw a Wombat" video after each step to draw at your own pace.
For the first few steps, don't press down too hard with your pencil. Use light, smooth strokes to begin.
Step 1: Draw a circle as a guide for the wombat's head. The circle doesn't have to be perfect. It's just a guide. Leave enough room on the right side for the body.
Step 2: Inside the circle, draw two intersecting lines. These lines will help you place the facial features later.
Step 3: Draw a small arc on the lower left side of the head as a guide for the wombat's muzzle.
Step 4: Draw two even smaller arcs on top of the head as guides for the ears.
Step 5: Draw another circle on the right side as a guide for the back portion of the body. This circle should be almost twice as big as the first circle. Don't draw this circle too far away, otherwise the wombat's body will be too long.
