To draw this cartoon Brachiosaurus step by step, follow along with the video tutorial below and pause the video after each step to draw at your own pace. You may find it easier to follow the step-by-step drawings below the video. The new lines in each step are shown in red, so you'll know exactly what to draw next. You may want to open the video in a new tab and use both drawing methods. Take your time and draw at your own pace.

Written step-by-step video tutorial:

For the first few steps, don't press down too hard with your pencil. Use light, smooth strokes to begin.

Step 1: Draw a small, curved line that's similar to the letter C for the brachiosaurus' eye. Sketch lightly at first. When you get the shape right, darken the line and make it thicker for the eyelashes. Inside the eye, near the left, draw a small circle for this cartoon dinosaur's iris.

Step 2: Inside the iris, draw two tiny circles near the edges for highlights. In the middle, draw a big dot for the pupil. The highlight circles can overlap the pupil, but don't overlap the highlight circles as you shade the pupil. Draw a short, curved line above the brachiosaurus' eye for the thick brow.

Step 3: On the lower, right side of the eye, draw a curved line that's similar to an upside-down letter C for the brachiosaurus' muzzle. Pay attention to the placement of this line in relation to the eye. Add a small dot at the top for the nostril.

Step 4: Draw a curved line from the top of the muzzle to high above the eye for the bony front part of the dinosaur's head. Sketch lightly at first to get the shape right. Draw a shorter line under the first line to emphasize the shape. On the lower, left side of the brachiosaurus' muzzle, draw another short, curved line for the bottom of the head.

Step 5: Draw a line that starts at the top of the cartoon brachiosaurus' head and then curves down for the first part of the neck.

Step 6: Under the head, draw a long line that's similar to the letter S for the front edge of the dinosaur's neck and chest.

Step 7: On the bottom, left side of the brachiosaurus' chest, draw a blocky line that's similar to a rectangle for the first leg.

Step 8: To the right, draw a smaller, rectangular shape for the other front leg. To the left of the first leg, draw a short, horizontal line for the underside of the brachiosaurus' body.

Step 9: To the left, draw a long shape that's wide at the top and narrow at the bottom for the hind leg. Use curved lines to make the top part wide. Make the bottom part similar to the brachiosaurus' front legs.

Step 10: To the left of the neck, draw a line that slopes down and then curves up for the cartoon brachiosaurus' back and tail.

Step 11: To the left of the hind leg, draw a line that curves up for the bottom edge of the tail. To the right of the hind leg, draw a small, square-like shape for the hind leg that's on the other side of the brachiosaurus dinosaur's body.

Step 12: Go over the lines with a pen or marker to make your brachiosaurus drawing permanent. Take your time and be careful when you ink to avoid any accidents. After the ink dries, get rid of every pencil mark with an eraser.

Final Step: Color your cartoon brachiosaurus dinosaur drawing any way you'd like, using color pencils markers or crayons! For this look, draw thin, curved shapes using dark green on the head, body and legs for stripes. Using light green, draw an outline below the eye, and on the bottom of the head and body. Color the top part. Use dark and light brown for the eye. Color the bottom of the brachiosaurus' body yellow. Don't forget to pause the video to draw at your own pace.
