Step 6: Draw a series of the curved lines that connect the major shapes to form the kangaroo's body.
Step 7: Draw an angled line in the upper part and below the lower part of the body as guides for the kangaroo's arms and legs. The top line begins in the middle of the circle, then angles to the right when it hits the edge. The lower line lookss like the letter L.
Step 8: On the lower left side, draw two curved lines that come to a point to form the kangaroo's long tail.
That's it for the initial sketch! From this point on, press harder with your pencil to get a more defined sketch.
Step 9: Draw the eye in the upper right side of the kangaroo's head. The shape of the eye is similar to a less-than sign (<) with a curved line on the right side for the kangaroo's eyeball. Shade the inside of the kangaroo's eye except for a small circle to represent glare. Make the outer lines thicker too. Draw a few strokes surrounding the eye for extra detail.
