That's it for the initial sketch! From this point on, press harder with your pencil to get a more defined sketch.
Step 6: Draw the sheep's eye on the upper right side of the circle. The shape of the eye is similar to a football. Draw it lightly at first to get the shape right, then darken the edges. Draw a circle inside for the actual eyeball. Draw a tiny circle inside the eyeball to represent glare and a thick horizontal line for the pupil. Shade in the rest of the eye using a lighter value than the pupil and add a few lines around the sheep's eye for extra detail.
Step 7: Draw the sheep's nose on the tip of the initial arc guide. First draw the outer structure of the nose using the edge of the arc, then add a small line inside the shape for the sheep's nostril.
Step 8: Draw the rest of the sheep's muzzle using the arc as a guide. Darken the top edge of the arc. Draw a line under the nose that extends to the left for the mouth. Draw a smaller line under it for the chin.
Step 9: Draw the ear to the left of the eye. Draw it lightly at first to get the shape right. It's similar to a curved V. Draw some curved lines at the base and darken the lines.
